New Delhi. Even before the end of April this year, the heat has wreaked havoc in North India. The Meteorological Department has now said that heatwave is going to continue in North-Western and Central India for the next three days. After this the heatwave is likely to reduce. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be opposite weather in the states of West Bengal, Sikkim and North-East. There are chances of storm, heavy rain and lightning at all these places. Similar weather is going to be seen in many other eastern states also.

The Meteorological Department estimates that there is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning at many places in Central India from April 27 to 29, in North-West India from April 28 to May 1 and in South India from April 28 to 30. The Meteorological Department has said that there is severe heat in all the areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, UP, Haryana and Rajasthan. In many places in these states the temperature has gone above 40 degrees Celsius. As the sun rises, people are facing a lot of problems due to heatwave.

The Meteorological Department has warned people living in North, West and Central India about the increasing heat. If you are going out during the day, keep drinking water to avoid dehydration. Also cover your head with an umbrella, towel or towel. Wearing full sleeve shirts protects from heatwave and heatstroke. Apart from this, also eat mango pana and raw onion. This does not cause heat stroke. The weather department had already predicted that there would be severe heat this year. This is due to the effect of El Nino. Due to El Nino effect, monsoon rains this year are also likely to be below average. In El Nino, the temperature of the sea surface becomes higher than that of the land. Earlier in 2024 and 2025, due to La Nina effect, heat was decreasing and rainfall was also above average.
