Thalapathy Vijay Stakes Claim To Form Government: Thalapathy Vijay met the Governor and staked claim to form the government, but got stuck.

New Delhi. TVK, which emerged as the largest party in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections, has started the process of forming its government. TVK chief Thalapati Vijay reached Lok Bhavan and met Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar. Vijay staked claim to form the government by handing over the letter of support of 112 MLAs to the Governor. However, the Governor did not seem satisfied with this and has asked Vijay to come again with the letter of support from 118 MLAs. During this, along with Vijay, many senior leaders of TVK party N. Anand, Aadav Arjun, Sengottaiyan and Arunraj were also present. Due to this development, there is doubt over Vijay taking oath tomorrow i.e. Thursday.

Congress has supported Thalapathy Vijay’s party TVK. At the same time, more than 30 MLAs of AIADMK are also in favor of supporting TVK. Let us tell you that TVK has won 108 seats in the assembly elections but 118 seats are required for majority. Since Vijay had contested elections from two assembly seats and won both the places, he will have to give up one seat. In this way TVK needs 11 seats for majority. Congress, which has won 5 seats, has agreed to support TVK. After the election victory, TVK chief Vijay had said that the welfare of our people is our only goal. Thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for congratulating him on the victory, he had said that rising above politics, we will focus on the progress of the state and the welfare of the people of Tamil Nadu. We hope for the cooperation of the Central Government in this effort.

Vijay said in his message to the public that since the establishment of the party, many people have spoken against us. We have faced all this because we believe that this is common in politics. We have stood firmly in the election field, trusting only the public and not relying on anyone. We faced insults and condemnation in the name of fairness and criticism. But, to repay the debt of gratitude towards whom we came into politics, our own people, our Tamil Nadu, has always supported us like a mother and will continue to do so.
