Suvendu Adhikari Will Be First BJP CM In Bengal: Suvendu Adhikari will be the first CM of BJP in Bengal, Amit Shah announced, swearing in tomorrow


New Delhi. Subhendu Adhikari will be the first Chief Minister of BJP in Bengal. The name of Shubhendu Adhikari as the Chief Minister was agreed upon in the BJP Legislature Party meeting in Kolkata. After this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah formally announced his name. After being elected the leader of the legislative party, Shubhendu Adhikari is now meeting Governor R.N. Will meet Ravi. During this, he will submit a letter of support from BJP MLAs to the Governor and stake claim to form the government. Subhendu Adhikari will take oath as the Chief Minister tomorrow i.e. on 9th May at the historic Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, the election process was completed just some time ago. About 8 proposals and supports have been received and almost all have the same name. As a Central Observer, I declare Subhendu Adhikari elected as the leader of the West Bengal Legislature Party. After announcing the name of Shubhendu Adhikari, Amit Shah congratulated him by garlanding him. However, there is discussion that there will be two Deputy Chief Ministers in the BJP government, out of which one woman can be made the Deputy CM.

Let us tell you that already the name of Shubhendu Adhikari was most discussed in the race for the post of Chief Minister. Shubhendu Adhikari has defeated Mamata Banerjee in her own stronghold Bhawanipur by more than 15 thousand votes. In view of this, it was believed that BJP would gift this victory to Shubhendu Adhikari. However, in the last assembly elections also, Subhendu Adhikari had defeated Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram.
