Accident In Chamba, Himachal Pradesh: Tragic accident in Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, Innova car fell into a ditch, 6 people died, 4 injured.

New Delhi. A painful road accident has occurred in Himachal Pradesh today. In the morning, an Innova car went out of control on Chamba-Nurpur National Highway NH 154A and fell into a ditch about 300 meters deep. 6 people have died in this accident while 4 others are injured. The people traveling in the Innova were tourists from Gujarat. All these people were going to visit Dalhousie from Manali. It was raining heavily at the time the accident occurred. It is believed that due to bad weather the road became slippery and possibly due to this the driver could not control the car.

As soon as the police and administration came to know about the accident, a rescue team was sent to the spot. Since the incident happened around 3 o’clock in the night, there was a lot of difficulty in the rescue operation due to darkness. After much effort, the injured were rescued from there and taken to the nearest hospital via ambulance. The injured have been referred to Medical College Tanda for first aid. Bodies of 6 people have also been taken out from the ditch and sent for post-mortem. The crashed car is said to be from Mandi district. From this it is being speculated that the tourists were going to Dalhousie by booking a rented taxi.

Police have registered the case and started investigation to find out the real reason behind the accident. The deceased have been identified as Lalit Bhai Fatnani, Mamta Ben wife Lalit Bhai, Priyank Kanhiya Lal, Kajal wife Priyank Kanhiya, Diaansh son Priyank Kanhiya, all of them were residents of Gujarat. Whereas Jaswant son Hari Singh was a resident of Tehsil Joginder Nagar district Mandi. Probably Jaswant will be the driver of this car.
