NEET UG 2026 Paper Leak Case: Another big action by CBI in NEET UG 2026 paper leak case, NTA expert Botany professor arrested
New Delhi. Taking major action, the CBI, which is investigating the NEET UG 2026 paper leak case, has arrested Manisha Gurunath Mandhare, a Botany professor from Pune, from Delhi. According to CBI, Manisha Gurunath Mandhare was appointed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an expert in the NEET UG 2026 exam process. It is a very shocking matter that the person appointed by NTA as an expert in the examination process is the same person involved in getting the paper out. Earlier yesterday, PV Kulkarni, a retired chemistry professor, was arrested. In this way, CBI has so far arrested a total of 9 people in this case.

During investigation, CBI has come to know that Manisha Mandhare and PV Kulkarni contacted the students preparing for NEET through Manisha Waghmare, a woman from Pune. Manisha Waghmare collected details of students preparing for NEET and collected money from them. After this, special classes were held for those students at the house of Botany Professor Manisha Mandhare where the students were told the questions which were going to appear in the NEET paper. Professor PV Kulkarni also did similar work. Being an NTA expert, he had easy access to the question papers of his subject and these people leaked the papers.
