8th Pay Commission: Big decision of 8th Pay Commission in the interest of central employees, deadline for submission of memorandum extended till this date


New Delhi. Lakhs of central employees and pensioners are eagerly waiting for the 8th Pay Commission report. It is believed that the 8th Pay Commission can submit the report to the Central Government by the middle of next year. After this the date of its implementation will be decided. Meanwhile, another important information related to the 8th Pay Commission has come to light. The Pay Commission has said that it will talk to the employee unions in Kolkata on July 9 and 10 and take their opinion on the salary structure.

Giving relief to the employee organizations which have not been able to submit the memorandum till now, the 8th Pay Commission has also extended the last date for this. Now, on behalf of employees and unions, memorandum can be submitted to the 8th Pay Commission by June 15, 2026. The Commission has said that the date for submission of the memorandum will not be extended. According to the Pay Commission, the employees union of Kolkata will have to take advance time to present its views. The organization will have to provide a unique memo ID after submitting its memorandum on the website. Without a unique memo ID, you will not get a chance to present your case before the 8th Pay Commission.

The Commission has said that for this one will have to login to 8cpc.gov.in website. If any organization of Central Government employees sends the memorandum by e-mail or by creating a PDF, it will not be considered. According to the Pay Commission, this decision has been taken to keep the data safe. The employee organizations that will be called for talks will be informed about the place. The 8th Pay Commission is to visit Srinagar from Monday to June 4 and Ladakh on June 8. Then on 22nd and 23rd June the commission will go to Lucknow. Then before Kolkata, the commission is going to meet in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha on 6th and 7th July. In this way the Commission is working rapidly. So that timely reports can be prepared for the central government employees.
