Mamata Expels Two MLA’s: Mamata Banerjee expelled two MLAs Ritabrata Banerjee and Sandipan Saha from TMC, know the reason.

Kolkata. Mamata Banerjee’s TMC has expelled its two MLAs Ritabrata Banerjee and Sandipan Saha from the party. TMC has accused Ritabrata Banerjee and Sandipan Saha of anti-party activities. TMC took this action against the two MLAs immediately after CM Shubhendu Adhikari’s revelation that Ritabrata and Sandipan had complained to the West Bengal Assembly Speaker that their signatures on the proposal naming the Leader of Opposition were fake.

TMC general secretary and Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee had sent a proposal letter to the West Bengal Assembly Speaker to make Shobhandev Chatterjee the leader of the opposition. After this, some TMC MLAs complained to the Assembly Speaker that this motion paper did not have their signatures. On this, the Assembly Speaker handed over the investigation to West Bengal CID. CID has formed a SIT under the chairmanship of DIG to investigate this alleged fraud. CID had also summoned Abhishek Banerjee on June 1 in the fake signature case, but Abhishek Banerjee got injured recently after being surrounded by a crowd in Sonarpur, West Bengal.

Mamata Banerjee’s TMC had won 80 seats in the West Bengal Assembly elections. Now after the expulsion of Ritabrata Banerjee and Sandipan Saha from the party, the number of party MLAs has increased to 78. Ritabrata Banerjee and Sandipan Saha have been expelled from the party by TMC. Because of this there is no threat to their membership. Both of them will no longer have to accept the whip of TMC and if they wish, they can vote in favor of BJP. Earlier on Sunday, Mamata Banerjee had called a meeting of all the MLAs, but only 20 out of 80 MLAs attended it. After which the meeting was cancelled.
