New Delhi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has taken a dig at the split in Uddhav Thackeray’s party Shiv Sena (UBT). During his address, when Amit Shah, who came to lay the foundation stone of Ambabai Temple Development Project in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, was greeting the NDA leaders present on the stage, he smilingly said that after the name of Shiv Sena President Eknath Shinde, earlier Shiv Sena had to be called Shinde faction. Now there is no group left, there is only one Shiv Sena. Reiterating his resolve to expel the infiltrators from the country, Shah said, these Congress people, this Uddhav Thackeray who is sitting in the lap of the Congress, all these people want to live by making the infiltrators a vote bank. I tell them, listen with open ears, this country is not a hospice.

Amit Shah said that with full confidence, I leave this holy land of Kolhapur telling the people of the country that the people of Bengal have blessed us. The people of Bengal are indebted to Narendra Modi and BJP. I leave with the assurance that not only will infiltration from the borders of Bengal stop, we will selectively expel each and every infiltrator from across the country. All types of security of India are being ensured under the leadership of Narendra Modi. Referring to the achievements of the Modi government, Shah said that in the last 12 years, ever since Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of the country, under his leadership all those tasks which were once considered impossible have been completed.

Shah said, we all used to come out in the city during the Ram Janmabhoomi movement. Many experienced citizens used to say that Ram temple will not be built in Ayodhya in our and your lifetime. Many times we also wondered whether we would be able to see the temple while alive or not. It is by the grace of Lord Shri Ram that BJP government was formed in 2014, Modi became the Prime Minister and today a grand Ram temple has been built in Ayodhya. Kashi Vishwanath Corridor which was destroyed by Aurangzeb is being rebuilt today. Kedardham-Badridham is being rebuilt. A gold temple is being built again in Somnath. Kamakhya corridor is being built and now the work of building the corridor of Ambabai temple is also going to start. This work is being done in the entire country under the mantra of development and heritage.
