Just two days ago, the three-member SIT formed to investigate the offering theft case has submitted its preliminary report to Sanjay Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary Home in the UP government. After the SIT report, now the action in this case has intensified. This matter is much discussed across the country. Amidst discussions about theft of donations, the temple trust itself was the first to request Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for an SIT investigation into the matter. After this, Yogi had constituted SIT under the leadership of Divisional Commissioner of Lucknow, IAS officer Vijay Vishwas Pant, whose other two members were IG Kiran S. And Neel Ratan, Special Secretary, Finance Department, was included. After thorough investigation of this matter, the SIT team has prepared a confidential report and submitted it to the government.

Although what is contained in that report has not been made public, it is likely that action has been taken against these accused in view of the SIT report. Now large scale arrests can also be made in this case. Yogi has already said that SIT report will turn milk into water. Strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.
