A person named Satish from Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, found it difficult not to wear a helmet. Satish was riding the bike without wearing a helmet. He became a victim of an accident. According to CCTV footage, 52 year old Satish was riding a bike without a helmet. He was passing through Ram Mandir Road in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru. Suddenly a branch of a tree on the roadside fell on Satish’s head and he went into a coma at that very moment. Obviously, due to Satish going into coma, a mountain of trouble has fallen on his family. If Satish had worn a helmet, his head would not have been hit by the tree branch and he would not have gone into coma. Therefore, if you are riding a bike, definitely wear a helmet. Wearing a helmet can save your life and your family will also not have to face problems.

In a report of the Road Transport Ministry, it was said that more than 50 thousand bike riders lost their lives in one year due to not wearing helmets. Every day 80 to 100 bike riders die due to not wearing helmets. It was said in the ministry’s report that if bike riders wear helmets, more than 40 percent of people’s lives can be saved in accidents. Satish’s case is an example that helmet not only protects from accidents due to collision with other vehicles or slipping of the bike, but also protects from sudden fall of a tree branch or any heavy object.
