Car Falls Into Gorge In Bharmour, Himachal Pradesh: Car falls into gorge in Bharmour, Himachal Pradesh, four people including three women killed, one injured

New Delhi. Three people lost their lives in a tragic road accident in Bharmour in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. An Alto car lost control and fell into a deep ditch near Sarani drain on Orei-Sambara road. In this incident, the driver and two women traveling in the car died on the spot while one of the two injured died in the hospital. As soon as information about the incident was received, police and administration people reached the spot and started rescue work. Local people also cooperated in this. The injured have been admitted to Chamba District Hospital. While the bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem.

The deceased have been identified as car driver Anku resident of Runahkothi and Chatro Devi wife Poonnu Ram, Bashahiro Devi wife Ghania Ram, and Lata Devi wife Rajendra Kumar (all three were residents of Orei in Chamba district). In this, Lata Devi died during treatment in the hospital. Rakesh Kumar, son of Purushottam, resident of village Ruhanukothi Orei, is injured and is undergoing treatment. It is being told that these people were going from Luna to Ruhnukothi via Samra. Then an accident happened on the way. As soon as this accident happened, the people nearby were the first to reach the spot and informed the police. At present the reason for the incident is not clear. Information will be available only after investigation. The car has also been badly damaged due to falling into the ditch.

Expressing grief over this incident, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that he is extremely saddened to hear the news of untimely demise of four people and injury of another person. The injured person is undergoing treatment in Chamba Hospital. I pray for his speedy and complete recovery. My deepest condolences are with all the bereaved family members in this sad time. May God rest the souls of the departed at His feet and give strength to the bereaved families to bear this immense pain.
