Ankit Sharma, posted as Security Assistant in IB, went missing on 25 February 2020 during the Delhi riots. On February 26, his mutilated body was recovered from Khajuri Khas drain near Chandbagh culvert. The post mortem report confirmed that many deep wounds caused by sharp weapons were found on his body. This incident was in the news all over the country. IB officer Ankit’s father Ravinder Kumar, in his complaint to the police, had accused former AAP councilor Tahir Hussain and others of murdering his son.
