Raja Raghuvanshi Murder Case: Relief for Sonam, accused in Raja Raghuvanshi murder case, continues, know what was the argument given in the Supreme Court?

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has just upheld the relief of his wife Sonam, accused of murdering Raja Raghuvanshi of Indore. Sonam was earlier granted bail by the trial court of Meghalaya. Which was upheld by the Meghalaya High Court. The Meghalaya government has appealed in the Supreme Court against the grant of bail to Sonam. The Supreme Court heard this on Thursday. After which the date of hearing was given for next Tuesday. The relief given to Sonam during this period will remain intact.

In this case, Sonam has filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court saying that she has been implicated in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case. Sonam has argued that she is innocent and the Meghalaya Police has made her an accused on the basis of circumstantial evidence. He has nothing to do with Raja Raghuvanshi murder case. In such a situation he cannot be held guilty. In this case, the Supreme Court has not canceled the bail granted to Sonam. Raja Raghuvanshi’s body was found in a ditch in Cherrapunji area of Meghalaya. Sonam was missing after the incident. After many days, she reached a dhaba in Ghazipur, UP. From where the police had arrested him.

Meghalaya Police has alleged in the charge sheet that Sonam along with her alleged lover Raj Kushwaha got her husband Raja Raghuvanshi murdered. For this, Raj sent three of his companions to Meghalaya. Who after killing the king threw his body in the ditch. There was a typing error in the report written by the police after Sonam’s arrest. Sonam said that she was not told on what charges she was being arrested. On this the trial court had granted bail to Sonam. Because the accused has to explain the reason for the arrest. Due to this lack, the relief that Sonam got is still intact. At the same time, along with Meghalaya Police, Raja Raghuvanshi’s family also wants Sonam’s bail to be canceled and her to be sent to jail.
