Suvendu Helps Family Of Indrajit: CM Subhendu Adhikari gave Rs 25 lakh to the family of Indrajit Mandal who lost his life in Baruipur and gave a job to his brother, said – will teach the culprits a lesson.

Baruipur. Recently, after the incident of rape and violence against a girl in Baruipur, West Bengal, Indrajit Mandal was beaten to death by a mob. West Bengal CM Shubhendu Adhikari reached Indrajit Mandal’s house on Saturday and extended help. Shubhendu Adhikari gave a check of Rs 25 lakh to Indrajit’s family. Also announced to give job to Indrajit’s brother as a civic volunteer. Shubhendu Adhikari inaugurated the new police post in Suryapur and listen to what he said after that.

A girl was raped and murdered in Baruipur. The crowd became furious after the girl’s body was found in a pond. The crowd had blocked the railway line and the highway. After this, some people in the crowd alleged that Indrajit Mandal had raped the girl. Whereas, it is being said that Inderjeet had caught the main accused Prabhas Mandal and handed him over to the police, but the mob beat him to death. After this incident, Shubhendu Adhikari and BJP delegation went to Baruipur and met the family members of the girl and Indrajeet.

Prabhas Mandal, the main accused of rape and violence in Baruipur, died in an encounter with the police recently. Whereas, the police have arrested more than two dozen people for the murder of Indrajit. When CM Shubhendu Adhikari had earlier gone to Baruipur, he had told that names of more than 200 people had come forward for inciting violence. The police are also identifying the remaining accused by looking at the CCTV footage. Now by providing help to Indrajit’s family, the family will be able to get some support. Also, the security situation here will improve with the construction of a new police post. This incident of major violence has happened after the formation of BJP government in the state.
