RVS Mani On Pakistan Cricketer Drug Trafficking: ‘Pakistani cricketers and officers like Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif used to bring drugs to India for smuggling’, claims former Home Ministry officer.

New Delhi. Former Home Ministry official RVS Mani is making many claims these days. Mani has now claimed that when Pakistan cricket team used to tour India, many Pakistani cricketers used to smuggle drugs along with them. RVS Mani also took the names of Pakistani cricketers Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif. Who had been caught on charges of drug smuggling. At that time, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had also banned Shoaib for 2 years and Asif for 1 year.

Speaking to ANI, RVS Mani said that Pakistani cricketers used to bring drugs not for their own use but for smuggling. RVS Mani has also claimed that Pakistani officials were involved in bringing drugs to India. RVS Mani, citing a report, claimed that 30 percent of the funding for the terrorist attack was done through drug smuggling. Referring to the suspicious death of Pakistan cricket team coach Bob Woolmer, he also linked it to drug smuggling by Pakistani cricketers. Woolmer was found dead in his hotel during the 2007 Cricket World Cup. Initial investigation revealed that he was murdered by strangulation. Jamaica Police later said it was a heart attack or illness.

RVS Mani had earlier claimed that Congress and Pakistan’s ISI together carried out the terrorist attack in Mumbai in 2008. He had claimed that there was a conspiracy to show the Mumbai terror attack as Hindu terrorism. According to a former Home Ministry officer, if Mumbai Police martyr Tukaram Omble had not caught Ajmal Aamir Kasab alive, the Hindu hand would have been shown in the attack in Mumbai. Because Kasab was made to wear Kalawa. RVS Mani had earlier alleged that he was harassed during the UPA government. He alleged that the CBI kept a constant watch on him.
