Due to the formation of a new system in the Bay of Bengal and favorable conditions in Western India, large parts of the country are cloudy and it is raining. The Meteorological Department has said that there will be heavy to very heavy rain in all the states in the next few days. Besides, a warning has also been issued regarding sudden floods and landslides in the hilly states. According to the Meteorological Department, the heaviest form of fresh monsoon rain will be seen in the hilly states. For this reason, along with Amarnath Yatra, Vaishno Devi Yatra has also been banned.

The Meteorological Department has said that there will be heavy rain in all the districts of Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, cloud burst incident occurred in Kinnaur of neighboring Himachal Pradesh. Due to this the ITBP camp was saved, but the Sangla-Chitkul road was damaged. The Meteorological Department has declared yellow alert due to the possibility of heavy rain in Delhi-NCR. Cloudy conditions and intermittent rain are expected in all 75 districts of UP. There may be very heavy rain at many places in Western and Eastern UP. Apart from this, there are chances of thunderstorm and lightning. Regarding Madhya Pradesh, the Meteorological Department has said that the state will once again see monsoon rains. The drought-like situation is likely to end due to heavy rains in the state in the next few days.

According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon clouds will rain heavily in East India and South India also. Also, heavy rains will continue in the northeastern states also. The Meteorological Department has said that incidents of floods and landslides may occur in East Siang and Kamle districts of Arunachal Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has already said that there will be less than average rainfall during monsoon this year. This can cause problems for farmers growing paddy crops. Paddy crop requires a lot of water for a long time. Recently, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan had also held a review meeting regarding taking necessary steps in view of this problem of farmers.
