On the basis of the latest complaint by the father of the female doctor who lost her life, an FIR has been registered against former TMC MLA Nirmal Ghosh along with TMC leaders Somnath Dey and Sanjeev Mukherjee at Khardah police station in West Bengal. The doctor's father has accused Somnath Dey that under his leadership the body was taken to the crematorium against the wishes of the family. Khardah police is now investigating these complaints.
In the complaint made to the police, it has also been said that they had demanded a second postmortem of the daughter, but it was not accepted, allegedly due to political influence. He says that some more information could have come to light if the post-mortem was conducted again. Questions have also been raised on the entire process in the complaint. Let us tell you that there was a CBI investigation in the RG tax case. In this case, Kolkata Police had arrested its civic volunteer Sanjay Rai. After investigation, CBI had named Sanjay Rai as the accused. At the same time, the family members of the deceased doctor have continuously alleged that other people are also involved in the case of rape and murder. In this case, on the orders of Calcutta High Court, CBI has once again started investigation. Ratna Debnath, mother of the deceased doctor, has also become an MLA by winning the West Bengal Assembly elections on BJP ticket.
