Modi Government Destroyed Shahzad Bhatti Terror Network: Modi Government's action against ISI supported Shahzad Bhatti terrorist network, more than 200 arrested from 14 states, Amit Shah gave information


New Delhi. Modi government has taken major action against the terrorist group 'Shahzad Bhatti Network' supported by Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. More than 200 people have been arrested from 14 states by conducting a campaign against the terror module. Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself has given this information. Amit Shah said that the Modi government dismantled the ISI-backed Shehzad Bhatti network before Independence Day and foiled its dangerous attack plans by arresting more than 200 of its members.

According to the Union Home Minister, Indian security forces have succeeded in dismantling this network by conducting simultaneous operations at different places in 14 states, which is a great example of India's 'zero-tolerance' policy towards terrorism. A huge quantity of IEDs, grenades with Pakistan Ordnance Factory marking, pistols, live cartridges and CCTV cameras used for espionage and many other items have been recovered from the ISI-funded Shehzad Bhatti group. People associated with this network were involved in terrorist activities and were continuously conspiring against India. Action has been taken against the arrested accused under UAPA, Arms Act, NDPS Act and Explosive Substances Act.

Arrests were made from these states

Security agencies in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Bihar, Karnataka, Telangana, Kerala, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir along with the state police carried out this operation on August 12 through the Real Time Intelligence Sharing System. 62 people have been arrested from Uttar Pradesh, 52 from Haryana, 51 from Delhi, 44 from Punjab, 15 from Rajasthan, 8 from Maharashtra and 5 from Uttarakhand. Whereas 3-3 people have been arrested from Gujarat, Karnataka, Bihar and 2-2 from Kerala, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir. More than 80 FRRs have been registered against Shehzad Bhatti.
