Ajit Doval To Visit China: National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is visiting China, important meeting with Wang Yi before Xi Jinping's possible visit to India

New Delhi. National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval will reach Beijing on Monday and meet Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Ajit Doval's visit to China is considered important because the neighboring country's President Xi Jinping may come to India to participate in the BRICS summit in September. The 25th round of Special Representative level talks is to be held between Ajit Doval and the Foreign Minister of China to resolve the India-China border dispute.

There is a 3488 km long LAC dispute between China and India. There is a dispute on LAC especially in Eastern Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh. China has occupied a large part of eastern Ladakh since 1962. At the same time, he claims Arunachal Pradesh as a part of Tibet. At the same time, India has always said that Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh were, are and will remain integral parts. Both the countries have been holding Special Representative level talks since 2003 to resolve the border dispute. India and China have not been able to resolve the border dispute, but high-level talks between the two countries definitely help in ending LAC violations or tension.

If Xi Jinping comes to India for the BRICS summit on September 12 and 13, he may have a separate meeting with PM Narendra Modi. PM Modi and Xi Jinping met during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Tianjin in August 2025. India always says that peace and stability on LAC is necessary for good relations with China. External Affairs Minister Jaishankar said at an event in Delhi on Saturday that the LAC witnessed difficult times between summer 2020 and autumn 2024. At that time China was continuing its attempts to infiltrate into eastern Ladakh. There was also a clash between the soldiers of both the countries in Galvan Valley. In which India's Colonel B. 20 soldiers including Santosh Babu were martyred. There was also news of 35-40 Chinese soldiers being killed, but China never disclosed their numbers.
