New Delhi. On the last Sunday of every month, PM Narendra Modi speaks 'Mann Ki Baat'. This Sunday was the 137th episode of Mann Ki Baat. In Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi expressed his views on drug-free India and women's empowerment and other topics. He said that drug free youth for developed India is moving forward rapidly. Its goal is drug free youth and drug free India. PM Modi said that the youth of the country are becoming a part of it in large numbers. He said that drug addiction causes ill effects not only to an individual but to the entire family and society. PM Modi praised those running awareness campaigns against drugs and helping drug addicts.

PM Modi called upon young musicians, students and drama groups to create songs and plays on drug-free life. Through which people should come to know about the dangers of drug addiction and the ways to get out of it. PM Modi also discussed the work of women in Mann Ki Baat. He said that in cities and towns, lakhs of women sell vegetables, fruits, tea, flowers, lamps and puja items from morning to evening. The PM said that sometimes lack of a little capital prevents women from doing business. He said that lakhs of such mothers and sisters are getting strength from PM Swanidhi Yojana. 46 percent of the beneficiaries of this scheme are women. PM Modi gave the example of Babita Sharma of Ghaziabad. Who got help from PM Swanidhi Yojana and increased the business of puja items.

PM Modi also discussed National Handloom Day, Quit India Movement, Independence Day and National Space Day. He said that these festivals fill the countrymen with pride.
