Srinagar. Security forces have achieved great success in Jammu and Kashmir. Lashkar-e-Taiba commander Yasir was killed in a joint operation by the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Budgam, Central Kashmir. Yasir was a Pakistani citizen. Yasir was sent by Pakistan Army for terrorist activities and killing of common people in Jammu and Kashmir. With the killing of Yasir, Lashkar-e-Taiba, which is trying to spread terror in and around Budgam, is sure to get a big blow.
Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police had received information that Yasir was active in the upper areas of Yusmarg of Budgam. After getting concrete information about his hiding, the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police surrounded the area. Security forces had an encounter with Yasir. In which Yasir was killed. According to the information, Yasir was earlier in Lashkar's senior Suleman Musa group. About a year ago he had separated from Suleman Musa's group. Suleman alias Musa was the mastermind of the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam. The security forces were successful in killing him in 2025 in the Dachigam forest of Srinagar.
For the last two years, Army, CRPF, BSF and Police have been running a campaign to eliminate terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. In the last two years, many big terrorists have been killed in Kashmir Valley.
