New Delhi. BSP supremo Mayawati has issued a big statement regarding her nephew and former party co-ordinator Akash Anand. He has held Ashok Siddharth responsible for the removal of Akash Anand from the post of party co-ordinator and curtailing his power. Ashok Siddharth is a former BSP Rajya Sabha MP and father-in-law of Akash Anand. Mayawati, while targeting Ashok Siddharth, has put a condition before him. Mayawati said that if Ashok Siddharth completely retires from politics, then the party will consider giving back his responsibilities to Akash Anand.
Mayawati said that Ashok Siddharth was given a chance to improve many times but he gave more importance to his personal, family interests and ambitions etc. than the mission of BSP, due to which along with him, his son-in-law Akash Anand also had to suffer. Ashok Siddhartha should have set an example of renunciation, austerity and sacrifice in front of the party and the society more than others, but instead of doing so, just the opposite has been happening. Ashok Siddharth has never taken proper care of Akash Anand and BSP movement in his personal interest. In such a situation, Ashok Siddharth still has a chance to give up his political ambitions and rise above his personal interests and completely retire from politics. Then in such a situation, Akash Anand will be free to work in the party and then the party will sympathetically consider giving him back his responsibilities.
On February 12 this year, Mayawati took action against Ashok Siddharth and expelled him from the party due to allegations of his involvement in anti-party activities. Not only this, the very next day after Ashok Siddharth's expulsion, Mayawati also suspended his son-in-law and her nephew Akash Anand from the party. However, later both of them returned to the party. Ashok Siddharth had posted his long apology on Facebook, in which he folded his hands and apologized to his sister and said that I will never commit the mistakes I have made in future and I will work under the party's guidance and guidance while remaining within the discipline of the party.
