Woman Receives Extortion Demand Of ₹200 Crore In The Name Of Gangster Goldy Brar: An extortion demand of ₹200 crore was made from a Delhi woman in the name of gangster Goldy Brar, received death threats.

New Delhi. A woman living in the capital Delhi allegedly received a call threatening her life from the name of gangster Goldie Brar and a ransom of Rs 200 crore was demanded from her. It was a WhatsApp call which came from a foreign number. The caller demanded extortion of Rs 200 crore and threatened to kill the woman and her husband. The woman is around 50 years old and lives in the posh Civil Lines area of ​​Delhi. On September 7, at around 10.44 pm, the woman was threatened through a WhatsApp call from a foreign number.

According to the information given by Delhi Police, the caller allegedly introduced himself as gangster Goldie Brar and claimed that he had complete information about the woman. The threat actor allegedly demanded Rs 200 crore from the woman. He threatened that if the money was not given, both the woman and her husband would be killed. The woman informed Delhi Police about this threatening call. Delhi Police, after preliminary investigation, registered a case on September 10 under sections 351(4), 308(4) and 61(2) of the Indian Judicial Code.

The police is investigating the case from every aspect. However, it is not yet known whether this threatening call actually came from gangster Goldie Brar or someone else used Goldie Brar's name to issue a threat. Delhi Police is also investigating this matter from the angle of personal or property related dispute. Goldie Brar, originally from Muktsar Sahib, Punjab, is a fugitive criminal who is running his gang hiding abroad. His name has also come up in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewal.
