Agra. In the last few months, many women have been accused of murdering their husband or fiance in different parts of the country. Women arrested for murdering their husbands or fiancees are in jails from Madhya Pradesh to UP and Meghalaya. Now two people in Agra have appealed to the police to provide protection to their wives. Both the people had reached Ekta police station in Agra. Police have taken complaint from both of them and assured to take necessary action.

Roop Kishore, a resident of Firozabad, reached Ekta police station in Agra on Tuesday afternoon. He appealed to the police to save himself. At the same time, two women reached the police station and started beating Roop Kishore. Other people present in the police station saved the man from being beaten. After this both the women threatened him and left. Roop Kishore told the police that he was married to Gauri, a resident of Digneer, three years ago. He has a two year old daughter. According to Roop Kishore, the wife lives in her maternal home and is not ready to come with him to her in-laws' house. The young man says that the wife asks for money every month. She calls him on some pretext and beats him up along with her mother. When he reached his in-laws' house, the money was snatched and he was beaten.

Roop Kishore was sent back by the police after taking a complaint, and after an hour, Rakesh Jadaun, a resident of Kahrayi Mor, Agra, reached Ekta police station. He also appealed to the police to save his wife. Rakesh Jadaun is around 40 years old. According to Rakesh, the marriage took place 20 years ago. they have three children. The wife has now converted and is living with someone else. Rakesh Jadaun has complained to the police that his wife threatens to kill him. Ekta police station says that both the cases are being investigated. If found guilty, action will be taken.
