Due to Sunday, October 4 will also be a holiday in banks across the country. There will be a holiday in banks in many states including Tripura and West Bengal on Maha Saptami on 17th October.
Along with Sunday, 18th October is the Maha Ashtami of Shardiya Navratri. Banks will remain closed across the country on that day. Banks are going to remain closed in West Bengal, Tripura, Bihar and Jharkhand on Mahanavami on 19 October. Dussehra is on 20th October. Banks will remain closed in most states on that date. At the same time, in states like Assam, West Bengal and Karnataka, there will be a bank holiday on October 21 on regional festivals and Vijayadashami.
