150 Bangladeshi nationals living illegally in Jammu and Kashmir deported: 150 Bangladeshi nationals living illegally in Jammu and Kashmir deported

New Delhi. 150 Bangladeshi citizens living illegally in Jammu and Kashmir have been deported. All these Bangladeshis were living in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir hiding their identities for a long time. They were identified as part of the Modi government's action against illegal immigrants. He did not have any valid document of his identity or of being an Indian citizen. All of them were taken to Bagdogra in West Bengal by a special Air Force aircraft. There these Bangladeshi citizens were handed over to BSF. After this, the process of sending all these Bangladeshis back to their country across the border is going on.

Another group of Bangladeshi citizens will be deported on Wednesday, October 7. On the other hand, the administration demolished huts built illegally on forest department land in Jammu. Most of the people living here were Rohingya migrants. Under this campaign, temporary shelters, huts and shops built in areas like Narwal, Bathindi, Sunjwan and Bahu Fort have been removed. Let us tell you that the stand of Modi government on the issue of illegal immigrants is very clear. The government is running a campaign to identify illegal Bangladeshi citizens living in different parts of the country. Recently in June this year, more than 290 suspected Bangladeshi infiltrators were detained in Ahmedabad.

Just a few months ago, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had reiterated the central government's resolve to send back the infiltrators during a program in Gujarat. While giving a chance to the infiltrators, Amit Shah had said that if they leave the country of their own free will and go back to the place from where they came, then the government will not take any action against them, rather they will be provided all possible assistance to go back to their country.
