New Delhi. CBI has raided the camp office of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and many other places. The CBI team reached Kothi number 50 of CM Camp Office located in Sector 2, Chandigarh to investigate. Apart from this, CBI has also raided the house of Chief Minister's OSD Rajveer Ghumman located in Gharachon village of Sangrur district. The CBI team has also raided the house of an IAS officer located in Phase-11 of Mohali. The CBI also conducted massive search operations in Gurdaspur, Ludhiana, Patiala and Jalandhar. During this, the CBI team captured laptop, mobile phone and many important documents.
Chandigarh: CBI raids are underway at several locations, including the Punjab Chief Minister's Camp Office and Kothi No. 50. A CRPF team has also reached the spot.

Earlier, CBI registered an FIR against Punjab Chief Minister's OSD Rajveer Ghuman and his associates. Apart from Rajveer, the FIR includes Nitin Gohal, Jitin Gohal alias Raja, Romi Raja Mahajan, Bir Devinder and R.S. Nagara is also named. This action is being taken in cases related to transfer-posting of IAS-IPS officers, large-scale corruption in CLU and other government work in the state. In fact, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has handed over the investigation of alleged corruption in the Punjab CM office to the CBI.

Advocate Nikhil Saraf had filed a PIL demanding an impartial investigation into this entire matter. While hearing the petition, the High Court has sought investigation report from CBI for two months. A day after the court order, CBI came into action and raided the CM camp office and other places. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has accused BJP regarding the CBI raid. He said, BJP has started preparations for Punjab elections. ED and CBI will be misused in Punjab to defame the Punjab government and me.
