New Delhi. AIMIM chief and Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi has advised Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav to introspect. Owaisi had said about Muslims that now Abdul will become a leader, MLA and MP. Earlier, Owaisi had recently said in Rampur, UP that AIMIM is working to give a political platform to Muslim youth. Owaisi had said that now we will not make any Nehru, Gandhi or Yadav our leader. Young men and women will be our leaders.

Asaduddin Owaisi now said in a conversation with CNN-News18 channel that Muslims need independent political leadership. Muslims should not be used merely as vote banks for established parties. He said that I don't know why Samajwadi Party is afraid of alliance with us. AIMIM Chief sarcastically said that Akhilesh Yadav had lost five elections. They should do some introspection themselves. Owaisi also alleged that Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party does not want Muslims to become leaders. She only wants to retain Muslim voters and keep them silent.

Asaduddin Owaisi alleged that the Samajwadi Party wants support from the Muslim community in the elections, but does not want to give it a bigger role in political leadership. He also questioned Akhilesh Yadav's visit to Rampur jail and meeting Azam Khan. Owaisi said that Akhilesh Yadav went to meet Azam Khan in jail when I said that the Samajwadi Party chief never went to meet him. Owaisi also raised the issue of the riots that took place in Muzaffarnagar, UP in 2013. AIMIM Chief said that riots took place in Muzaffarnagar during the time of Akhilesh Yadav's government. He also alleged that hundreds of women were raped during these riots. Let us tell you that Owaisi has been proposing alliance to Akhilesh Yadav for every election in UP except Lok Sabha, but Samajwadi Party refuses the alliance calling him B-team of BJP. Other opposition parties including Congress also do not want to support Owaisi. Congress calls their AIMIM a vote cutoff.
