Rajnath Singh Hits Back Over Kharge's Remarks Against PM Modi: Protest in democracy, but with personal dignity…Rajnath Singh hits back over Kharge's remarks against PM Modi, BJP's nationwide demonstration

New Delhi. The controversy over Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge's remarks regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late father is deepening. BJP workers are protesting against the Congress President in different parts of the country. Whereas Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has termed Kharge's remarks as highly condemnable. Taking aim at the Congress party, Rajnath Singh said that instead of admitting its mistake and expressing regret, the Congress is busy defending and justifying Kharge's statement. People's sentiments are getting further hurt by this.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that he was shocked and deeply hurt by what Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said about Prime Minister Modi's late father in Patna on Sunday. The most shocking thing in this entire episode is that this comment was not made by any common worker or youth leader of Congress, but by the national president of the party which calls itself the oldest political party of the country. The Congress President has hurt the sentiments of crores of countrymen by his conduct. Political opposition is in its place but this kind of conduct cannot be acceptable under any circumstances. Till yesterday, some Congress leaders used to make fun of the simple family background of the Prime Minister and even used abusive language for his mother. Today the same low level politics has reached the top leadership of Congress.

Rajnath said, when the top leadership of a party forgets the dignity of language, then how can decency be expected from its workers. The level of Congress politics is continuously falling. Converting ideological opposition into personal insults, taking political disagreements to hate speech and targeting the Prime Minister's family reflects Congress's desperation and ideological void. This is not just an insult to an individual or a family, but also an attack on the dignity of Indian politics. Protest in democracy, question policies, criticize the government, but do not violate personal decorum. Today, Congress has not only declined politically, but it has also become ideologically and morally bankrupt. Congress has hurt the sentiments of crores of countrymen by insulting the Prime Minister's family. The public will definitely give a befitting reply to this insult.
