CTI President On Rahul Gandhi's November 1st Rally: Diwali of Delhi traders should not turn black, CTI President is worried about Rahul Gandhi's November 1st Rally

New Delhi. The Chamber of Trade and Industry (CTI) had written a letter to Rahul Gandhi two days ago requesting him to postpone the proposed rally at Ramlila Maidan on November 1 as it could affect business during the festive season. However, today Rahul Gandhi posted the names of Delhi businessmen on Facebook in which he wrote, we love you, we are listening to you. Tell Modi ji to remove Gyanesh Kumar, the movement will stop in 30 seconds. In a way, Rahul Gandhi has not accepted the request of the traders and CTI Chairman Brijesh Goyal has expressed disappointment regarding this.

Goyal said that 2 days ago CTI wrote a letter to Rahul Gandhi and today we also wrote a letter to Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge asking him to postpone the rally for a few days. We have no differences with any rally. What we are saying is that there is a rally at Ramlila Maidan on 1st November, Dhanteras on 6th November, Diwali on 8th and Bhaidooj on 9th. There are 20 big wholesale markets within a radius of 5 kilometers of Ramlila Maidan. Rahul Gandhi is saying that 10 lakh people will come to this rally and the capacity of Ramlila Maidan itself is 50 thousand. These 10 lakh people who will come to the rally will come by road only.

CTI Chairman said, we saw that when there was a protest at Jantar Mantar, the traffic of entire Delhi came to a standstill due to the arrival of 2-4 thousand people. Now when these 10 lakh people come, the police will put up barricades, it is possible that the metro will be closed, roads will be closed, this will cause loss to the traders. We have nothing to do with any party. We are trying to save our business. The livelihood of about 15 lakh people is linked to the markets around Ramlila Maidan. In such a situation, we fear that due to this rally, traders might go bankrupt and their Diwali might turn black.
