New Delhi. The problems of Mokama's powerful MLA Anant Singh, who was expelled from JDU, may increase further. The strong MLA may have to go to jail again. Anant Singh was granted bail in the case of alleged murder of Dularchand Yadav. An appeal has been filed in the Supreme Court against the bail of Anant Singh. On which the apex court is going to hear on October 30. Patna High Court had granted bail to Anant Singh in March this year in the murder case of Dularchand Yadav.

Dularchand Yadav, who had a strong image in the area, was allegedly murdered during the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections. In Mokama, Dularchand Yadav was campaigning in favor of Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraj Party candidate Piyush Priyadarshi. At that time Dularchand Yadav faced Anant Singh's convoy. According to the postmortem report, Dularchand Yadav died due to being crushed by a heavy vehicle. Anant Singh was arrested in this case and sent to jail. Dularchand Yadav's grandson Neeraj Kumar has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the bail granted to the MLA.

Anant Singh had won the assembly elections from Mokama seat after the alleged murder of Dularchand Yadav. This time in the Bihar Legislative Council elections, Anant Singh raised the flag of opposition to his party JDU candidate Neeraj Kumar. Along with supporting Jan Suraj's candidate, Anant Singh also gave a statement against Lalan Singh, close to Nitish Kumar. As a result, Anant Singh was expelled from JDU for six years. JDU has also submitted the letter of cancellation of his MLAship to the Bihar Assembly Speaker. JDU also removed Anant Singh's Neelam Devi from the party. As a result, his status as Minister of State was also abolished. Neelam Devi has also been asked to vacate the government residence. If Anant Singh goes to jail again, the problem may increase due to lack of support from JDU.
