PM Modi On Dimagi Naxals: 'Naxalites have been wiped out from the forests but there are brainy Naxalites in many organizations…they have to be defeated', said PM Modi while celebrating Diwali with soldiers in Bastar.

Karanpur (Bastar). Like every year, PM Narendra Modi celebrated Diwali this year with the soldiers. He met CRPF jawans based in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh and wished them on Diwali. PM Modi's Bastar tour is also special because by March this year, brave soldiers have completely uprooted Naxalism from the country. On this occasion, PM Modi addressed the CRPF soldiers and Cobra commandos of the force. He said that one thing should be remembered. Naxalites were eliminated, but the danger did not go away. The armed Naxalites were wiped out from the forests, but the mental Naxalites have taken over many organizations. Even today they are instigating people against the country's constitution and democracy. They will have to be identified and defeated and the security of the country will have to be ensured.

Addressing the soldiers, PM Modi said that to take the country forward, we have to face and defeat the enemies of the country with determination and a well-thought-out strategy. The political will that was lacking in the country to do this became stronger in 2014. PM Modi said that you gave this 'Pradhan Sevak' the opportunity to serve 'Maa Bharati' and we have seen how the situation started changing after 2014. For a long time we saw that our soldiers were getting martyred more than the deaths of Naxalites, but for the first time in 47 years a remarkable incident happened. In the last one year, not a single CRPF soldier was martyred in the line of duty. He said that this is the victory of the right policies and determination of the country. This is the victory of bravery, courage and restraint of the soldiers.

Addressing the soldiers, PM Modi said that when we work for the nation, we also ensure peace and security in the country. In the last 12 years, the country has not only won the fight against Naxalism and separatism, but has also fought a big fight against poverty. Just before Diwali this year, the World Bank has said in one of its reports that in the last 12 years, 50 crore people in India have come out of extreme poverty. PM Modi said that the work which could not be done for decades with the slogans of poverty alleviation, was done by the country in just 12 years. He said, think what a big achievement this is. During Diwali we make rangoli. We have created a rangoli of welfare schemes that have continued to empower the poor.

PM Modi said that our country has the ability to fulfill every resolution. Today when we talk about eradicating poverty, when we talk about drug-free India, when we talk about developed India and self-reliant India, the country will definitely achieve these goals also. He said that we have to see these dreams coming true before our eyes. PM Modi said that he has faith in the youth power of the country and the people of the country. The country will definitely achieve these goals.
