When The Limits Of Humanity Are Crossed The Response Is Decisive
On April 22, 2025, Hindu tourists were targeted and killed by Pakistani terrorists in the grounds of Baisaran located in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. 26 innocent people lost their lives in this attack. This incident caused outrage across the country and the world. After this, India retaliated by launching ‘Operation Sindoor’, in which terrorist bases located in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) were targeted. Now before the first anniversary of this horrific attack, the Indian Army has once again given a strong message against terrorism.
On the eve of the anniversary of the attack, the Indian Army recalled ‘Operation Sindoor’ and issued a warning to terrorists. Army’s Additional Director General (Public Relations) ADG PI wrote on social media platform ‘X’, “When the limits of humanity are crossed, the answer is decisive. Justice has been done. India is united.” The poster shared with it read, “Some boundaries should never be crossed. India does not forget.”
When boundaries of humanity are crossed, the response is decisive.
Justice is Served.

During the Pahalgam attack, the terrorists asked the victims about their religion to ascertain whether they were Muslim or non-Muslim. During this period all non-Muslim men were mercilessly killed in front of their wives and families. The wounds of this attack are still fresh for the victims’ families. After the attack, India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ on 7 May 2025 to respond to Pakistan. In this operation, Indian Armed Forces destroyed nine major terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and PoK. Hideouts of organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Hizbul Mujahideen were targeted and more than 100 terrorists were killed.
After this, drone attacks and shelling were carried out by Pakistan, due to which a tense situation remained for four days. The Indian Army responded by destroying Pakistani radar systems near Lahore and Gujranwala. After heavy losses, Pakistan’s DGMO contacted India’s DGMO and a ceasefire was agreed upon on 10 May.
In this context, security forces killed three terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack under ‘Operation Mahadev’. India also ended the Indus Water Treaty and bilateral trade with Pakistan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi clearly said that any terrorist attack on India will be given a strong and befitting reply and no distinction will be made between those who promote terrorism and its operators.
Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi described ‘Operation Sindoor’ as an example of clear political direction and excellent coordination of the three armies. Air Chief Marshal Amarpreet Singh called it a symbol of the precision and strength of the Indian Air Force. Whereas Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi said that due to the deployment of the aircraft carrier battle group in the Arabian Sea, the Pakistani Navy remained limited to its ports.
