Pm Modi’s First Reaction To The White House Shooting Expressed Relief That Trump Was Safe

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reacted to the firing during the White House Correspondence Dinner and the attempted assassination attempt on US President Donald Trump. He expressed relief over the safety of US President Donald Trump, First Lady Millenia Trump and Vice President JD Vance.

The Prime Minister, in his message shared on social media platform He also expressed his best wishes for their continued safety and well-being.

This statement came after the incident when there was chaos due to the news of firing during the White House Correspondence Dinner. An attempt was made by the suspect to breach the security at the venue, which was immediately foiled by the security agencies.

Prime Minister Modi strongly condemned this incident and said that there is no place for violence in a democratic society. He said, “It is a relief to know that President Trump, the First Lady and the Vice President are safe and unharmed following the recent security incident at a hotel in Washington DC. I extend my best wishes for their safety and well-being. Violence has no place in a democracy and must be condemned in its entirety.”

Earlier, after sudden gunshots were heard during the program, President Trump and other distinguished guests were immediately taken to a safe place. US Secret Service officials took quick action and removed the President from the stage and brought him out safely.

The President or the Vice President were not injured in the incident. According to officials, the suspect was caught in time, thereby averting any major damage. However, this incident has once again raised questions on the security arrangements of high-level events. At present, the investigating agencies are investigating the entire matter and aspects of possible security lapse are being thoroughly reviewed.
