After the case of sexual exploitation that came to light in Paratwada of Amravati in Maharashtra, now a similar incident has come to light from Kolhapur, due to which there is huge anger in the area. In Pulachi Shiroli village of Kolhapur, a Muslim youth named Shahid Sanade has been accused of sexually exploiting several girls and making their obscene videos and making them viral. The police have arrested the accused in this case.
According to the information, accused Shahid Sanade threatened about 15 girls, took them to the lodge and made objectionable videos of them and later made them viral. He also used to blackmail girls through these videos. After the matter came to light, the police registered a complaint and detained the accused, while the search for his associate Shahrukh Desai is going on. A case has been registered against both of them at Hatkanangle police station.
After the incident, huge anger was seen in the village. The villagers of Pulachi Shiroli strongly condemned the incident and kept the village closed and also demanded action against the family of the accused. A plan was made by the Sakal Hindu Samaj to take out a morcha from the entrance of the village to the Gram Panchayat, but the police did not allow it due to lack of necessary permission. In protest against this, the villagers observed a strict bandh and the Sarpanch, Deputy Sarpanch, members and women representatives demonstrated strongly outside the Gram Panchayat. The protesters demanded death sentence for the accused. During this, a heated argument also took place between the police and the protesters. Heavy police force was deployed in the village to control the situation and notices were also issued to some protesters.
BJP MLA Amal Mahadik reached the spot and accepted the memorandum of the villagers. He has demanded from the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) for a thorough investigation of this matter.
Meanwhile, the father of accused Shahid Sanade has released a video and publicly apologized. He said that he strongly condemns this act and will not support his son. He apologized to the victim girls and the people of the village and said that the law should take its course and the culprit should be given the harshest punishment. The family also assured that they will cooperate fully in the investigation and do not support this crime in any way.
