Rajnath Singh said that Maharana Pratap was not only a king, but he was a symbol of the thinking of India, which could not compromise with its self-respect and values ​​at any cost. Akbar even tried to compromise with Maharana Pratap.

If the Maharana had wanted, he could have made a compromise with Akbar and could have spent his life with great happiness and joy in the palaces, but he agreed to leave the soft bed of the palaces and sleep on the stones. The Defense Minister said that Maharana Pratap endured every hardship, but never bowed his knees before the Mughals and to protect his motherland, the land of Haldi Valley was stained red with the blood of the enemy. Only last month, I had unveiled the grand statue of Maharana Pratap in Jaipur.

He said that after independence, many governments came and went in the country, but after independence, some governments came where children were taught that Akbar was great, but Maharana Pratap, the true son of Mother India, was not given the place and respect that he should have got, but the bravery and bravery of Maharana Pratap is not dependent on any government or history.

He said that Akbar was gone and the Mughals were also gone and the trace of their descendants had also disappeared, but even today Maharana Pratap is alive in the hearts of India. Even today, mothers and sisters of India tell the story of Maharana Pratap to their children.

Maharana Pratap’s life inspires us that freedom has no price. There is nothing greater than the respect and self-respect of the country and its countrymen, and with this thinking in mind, we have worked under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last 12 years to protect the self-respect of India.
