CM Mohan Yadav released the 37th installment of Ladli Brahmin Yojana!

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday released the 37th installment of the flagship ‘Mukhyamantri Laadli Behna Yojana’. Under this, Rs 1,835 crore was transferred directly into the bank accounts of more than 1.25 crore beneficiary women of Madhya Pradesh.

During a public program organized at Kesli in Deori Assembly constituency of Sagar district, the Chief Minister transferred Rs 1,500 each to the eligible ‘Laadli Sisters’ with a single click. This step of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) is another important step towards economic empowerment and self-reliance of women in the state.

On the same occasion, CM Yadav gifted 53 development projects worth about Rs 190.85 crore to Deori assembly constituency. These include the laying of foundation stone of 28 new projects costing Rs 122.02 crore and inauguration of 25 completed projects costing Rs 68.83 crore.

While addressing the women’s gathering, the Chief Minister launched a scathing attack on the Congress. He alleged that Congress has always insulted women and has done little for their economic upliftment.

These projects are expected to significantly improve the infrastructure and facilities for the people in the area.

‘Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana’ remains one of the major welfare schemes of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Its objective is to provide financial assistance to women belonging to economically weaker sections.

The benefits of this scheme are available to the permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh. The conditions required for this include: the annual income of the family should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh, no member of the family should be in a government job, the family should not have more than five acres of agricultural land, and the family should not own any four-wheeler.

Married, widowed, abandoned (left by husband), and divorced women between the age of 21 to 60 years can apply for this.

This scheme has emerged as a great source of help for women across the state, making them financially stronger and more self-reliant.

Chief Minister Yadav’s simultaneous focus on welfare schemes and development work shows the government’s commitment towards inclusive development. This not only strengthens the local infrastructure but also ensures that the benefits of the schemes reach the grassroots level.

‘Laadli Brahmin Yojana’ has already helped crores of women, making them financially stronger and self-reliant.
