‘Tum Hi Ho Bandhu’ will be heard in Cocktail 2, explosive dance will be shown.
This song will be presented with a completely new musical touch and modern sound. Makers say that presenting an old song in a new style is a big responsibility, because people’s emotions are attached to it and any kind of change has to be done carefully.
On this occasion, actor Shahid Kapoor shared a glimpse of the song on his Instagram. In the video, Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon are seen doing a tremendous dance on the song.
Along with this post, Shahid wrote in the caption, “The film ‘Cocktail 2’ is going to be released on June 19 and we are very excited about it.”
The original version of this song was composed by famous music director Pritam Chakraborty. Its lyrics were written by renowned lyricist Irshad Kamil, while it was sung by Kavita Seth and Neeraj Sridhar. This song is known for its energy, fun and friendship.
Now this new version has been prepared by music producer Abhijeet Vaghani. He has tried to adapt this song according to the new age music style, so that it is liked by today’s young generation and at the same time keeps the memories of the old fans intact.
Abhijeet Vaghani said, “Recreating such a popular and loved song is not an easy task. The biggest strength of this song is its timeless charm, which people feel even today. Therefore, we had to take special care while recreating it. Our aim was to retain the old magic of the song, but add new musical textures and modern touch to it, so that it looks even more attractive as per today’s times. In this new version, a combination of both old and new music will be seen.”
Earlier, the makers of the film ‘Cocktail 2’ had also released some other songs, which include ‘Tujhko’, ‘Wallah’, ‘Maashuka’ and ‘Jab Talaq’. These songs have received good response from the audience and there is already a buzz about the film. The film is going to be released in theaters on June 19.
