New twist in Salman Khan’s film ‘Black Buck’ controversy

Controversy is increasing over the film ‘Black Deer’

The controversy surrounding Salman Khan’s film ‘Blackbuck’ based on the 1998 blackbuck hunting case is deepening. Actor Govind Namdev, who is playing the role of a lawyer in the film, had recently said that he was not given correct information about the real story of the film. On this, the film’s producer Amit Jani rejected these allegations and shared important information in a conversation with a media channel. Jani told that Govind Namdev had not only signed the first film after understanding the script, but he had also given consent for its sequel ‘Kala Hiran 2’.

Amit Jani’s reaction on Govind Namdev

Amit Jani expressed surprise at Govind Namdev’s claims, saying, “An experienced actor was given the entire script. He first read the synopsis, then saw the character sketch and finally read the entire script.” He also told that Govind Namdev read the script for five consecutive days during the shooting. When he was standing as the lawyer of Bishnoi community in the court room scene, did he not know against whom he was fighting the case?

Did Govind Namdev receive threat?

Amit Jani also expressed doubt that there could be some threat from people close to Salman Khan behind the changed statement by Govind Namdev. He said, “Either they have been threatened over the phone, or they thought they had already been paid for the film and now want to take advantage by getting into Salman Khan’s good books.” Jani also told that as per the agreement Namdev will have to be involved in dubbing and media promotion, but he gave a statement to the contrary.

Agreement has also been signed for ‘Black Buck 2’

Amit Jani told that the story of the film could not be completed in one part, because it is not only a courtroom drama but also a crime thriller. When he told Namdev that ‘Black Buck 2’ would be made to show the legal battle of Bishnoi community from 1998 to 2018, Govind Namdev was very excited. He had said, “If Salman Khan is punished, I will be the lawyer who gets him punished.” After this he also signed the agreement for the sequel.

Govind Namdev’s statement

Govind Namdev had earlier said in a conversation with ‘Amar Ujala’ that he was completely shocked after watching the trailer. He claimed, “This film is completely different from the story I was told. I was not told that a character like Salman Khan would be shown in this way.” According to Namdev, he was told the name of the film was ‘Sambhal’ and that it was just a typical courtroom drama based on court proceedings.

Legal notice and Salman Khan’s move in court

After this statement, producer Amit Jani has sent a legal notice to Govind Namdev. He informed on social media that Namdev will have to publicly apologize within 7 days and the production house will have to pay a fine of Rs 50 lakh, otherwise legal action will be taken. On the other hand, Salman Khan has also filed a petition in Delhi High Court to ban this film. He says that this film violates his ‘personality rights’. The next hearing of this case will be on June 19.
