At the event, Harish Durairaj mentioned his wife and thanked her. He said, “My wife has supported me in every difficult time and even today I consider her the biggest support in my life.” During this time, he became emotional on the stage and tears started appearing in his eyes.
The director recalled the old days on this occasion and said, “We dated for about seven years before marriage, after which we decided to get married. Many people had raised objections about our relationship and my wife was advised not to marry a struggling assistant director.”
Harish said, “Many people asked my wife whether she was going to marry a man whose salary was only Rs 10,000 a month. People also warned my wife that it would make her life difficult in the future. But despite all these things, she trusted me and remained firm on her decision.”
The director said, “My wife had shown a strong and different thinking at that time. She responded to people’s views by saying that it is not necessary that only men should earn and run the family, but women can also earn and fulfill the responsibilities of the family.”
Harish told that for almost five years of marriage, my wife took the responsibility of the family by working in the IT sector. There I continued to struggle for film production. “I couldn’t do anything special for my wife.”
Saying this he became very emotional and could not control himself. Later he said that I hope that my upcoming film ‘Con City’ will bring a new change in my life and things will get better.
The film ‘Con City’ is a comedy family entertainer, written and directed by Harish Durairaj himself. Arjun Das and Anna Ben will be seen in lead roles in the film. This film is going to be released in theaters on June 26.
