Minister reached Bharat Tiwari’s village, assured justice to the family!

Bihar government minister Ashok Chaudhary reached Biloti village of Bhojpur on Sunday and met the family members of late Bharat Tiwari and assured them of getting justice. Talking to journalists after the meeting, he said that he has listened seriously to the views of the family members and the entire matter will be informed to Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary.

Minister Ashok Chaudhary said that he wanted to meet the family earlier also, but after the death of Bharat Tiwari, religious and family programs were going on in the family. For this reason, he decided to meet the family only after the completion of the thirteenth rites.

He said, “Today we have met Bharat Tiwari’s father Kashinath and his mother. Listened to them and got many such information which were not known earlier. We will inform the Chief Minister about all these facts.”

He said that the government is looking at the entire matter seriously and no culprit will be spared. If he himself commits any wrongdoing or creates controversy, the responsibility for it will be his personal responsibility and not that of the Chief Minister or the government.

On the ongoing discussions regarding the transfer of DSP, Minister Ashok Choudhary said that he has not been promoted, but he has been transferred to avoid public anger and to ensure fair investigation so that he cannot influence the judicial process. The government has taken immediate action in view of the allegations.

Ashok Choudhary told that Bharat Tiwari’s mother has informed him about the matter of about Rs 1,400 crore related to the displaced people. He said that he will collect complete information in this regard. He also said that Bharat Tiwari was fighting for the rights of the displaced people and he had many important information.

The minister said that along with the questions raised by former Director General of Police Abhayanand, he would also seek information about what was the role of the SDM at the spot during the alleged encounter and why was he present there? He said that he will also meet the Chairman of the Judicial Inquiry Committee and discuss the entire matter and after that will submit a detailed report to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and concerned officials. Let us tell you that Bharat Tiwari had allegedly died in a police encounter.
