‘It is not wrong to promote local food’, Bhagyashree angry at trolls!
Bhagyashree shared a video on social media, in which she is seen enjoying Banarasi Lassi in Kulhar. She told that she had participated in Mangala Aarti from 3 am in the morning and after this, this Lassi became a great source of energy for her while walking on the Ganga Ghats in the scorching heat.
He wrote in the post that he liked the taste of dry fruits added to Lassi very much. He also said that sweet or salty lassi is a matter of choice. Sweet lassi may not be the right choice for diabetic patients, but curd is rich in calcium, protein and probiotics, while sugar or jaggery provides energy and water keeps the body hydrated. It was a perfect drink for them in the 40 degree temperature.
Bhagyashree also reacted to the video clip going viral in which it was claimed that she only promoted Lassi but did not drink it. She said, “Were you present there? Did anyone hear me say that Lassi is too sweet and I will not drink it? Sharing half information and incomplete video is the real fraud.”
He further wrote, “No one makes money by promoting local food. It only supports local food and small vendors. It is a shame that some empty minded people find negativity even in such simple things. Your unnecessary criticism is very insignificant in front of a holy place like Kashi.”
Actually, recently a video of Bhagyashree at a local lassi seller in Varanasi went viral on social media. After this, some people claimed that they did not drink Lassi after the shooting and attributed this to the high sugar and fat content in it.
