Why did I commit the sin of offering namaz on the stairs of Hanumangarhi: CM Yogi!
The Chief Minister said that those who stopped the development of Ayodhya for years are the same ones who are showing off today. He claimed that the double engine government has brought about that change in Ayodhya, which was not possible in the last 500 years. During this, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 217 development projects costing more than Rs 432 crore for Bikapur assembly constituency.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing the public meeting organized in Bikapur, Ayodhya, said that the people who talk about faith and devotion to Ram today, were once the ones who used to offer Namaz on the stairs of Hanumangarhi. This was playing with faith. He asked, “Can any government get Hanuman Chalisa recited in Delhi’s Jama Masjid?” It was a sin of SP and Congress to do this in Hanumangarhi, which was never accepted by the people of the state.
Referring to the recent controversies regarding offerings in Ram temple without naming him, CM Yogi said that some people only do politics on issues of faith, whereas the BJP government has worked for the development of Ayodhya and giving a new identity to its cultural heritage. Those who created obstacles in the construction of Ram temple for years and opened fire on Ram devotees are today pretending to be Ram devotees.
The Chief Minister said that Ayodhya remained deprived of development for a long time. The Samajwadi Party and Congress governments neither respected the religious importance of this place nor paid attention to basic development. Earlier the Saryu river was polluted, there was lack of basic facilities and Ayodhya’s identity was associated with neglect, but the double engine government has changed both its picture and destiny.
He said that Samajwadi Party also opposed the construction of the airport and tried to mislead the people, but today the same airport is connecting the major cities of the country with Ayodhya. If the intentions are clear and the policy is clear then development happens automatically.
Accusing the opposition of neglecting the places associated with Lord Ram, CM Yogi said that even the international airport named after Maharishi Valmiki and the night shelter built in the name of Nishadraj Guh were opposed.
He distributed acceptance letters and assistance amount to the beneficiaries of various government schemes and while unveiling the statue of former minister Munna Singh, he said that the state government is continuously moving forward with the resolve of development and public welfare.
Only those who are completely dedicated to Lord Ram should handle the arrangements of Ram temple: Surendra Jain!
