CM Bhajanlal Sharma strict, instructions to meet the revenue target of 2026-27 in a timely manner and take strict action on tax evasion

Chief Minister of Rajasthan Bhajanlal Sharma On Thursday, he held a review meeting with senior officials of various departments related to revenue generation and reviewed the financial year. 2026-27 Instructions were given to meet the revenue targets within the stipulated time. He laid special emphasis on ensuring effective and strict action in cases of tax evasion.

Emphasis on time bound targets and transparent methodology

During the meeting, the Chief Minister told the officials that all the departments should work in a time bound manner by making concrete action plans to achieve the set revenue targets. He clarified that effective implementation of schemes is necessary to increase government revenue.

Instructions for strict action against tax evasion

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma directed to ensure effective action against tax evaders. He said that by strengthening the revenue collection system, strict monitoring should be kept on irregularities, so that there is no loss of government revenue.

Common people should get immediate relief

The Chief Minister stressed on making the processes of revenue departments simpler, transparent and more accountable. He directed the officers to ensure timely and transparent disposal of revenue related matters, so that common citizens do not have to face unnecessary hassles and they can get prompt relief.

Good governance should be strengthened

The Chief Minister said that it is the priority of the state government to make the departmental functioning more effective, transparent and accountable. He expected the officers to work with full commitment to reach the benefits of government schemes and services to the last person while following the principles of good governance.

In the meeting, senior officials of the departments related to revenue generation also informed the Chief Minister about the progress of their respective departments and the upcoming action plan.
