The country whose infrastructure is strong, its future will also be strong: Rajnath Singh!

Our aim is not just to put roads on the map of India, but to create the belief in the mind of every citizen of India, that no corner of the country is far away anymore. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said this on Thursday. He said that we understand that the future of the country whose infrastructure will be strong will also be the strongest.
Therefore, we will continue to work like this in future also. Rajnath Singh was addressing the Border Roads Organization (BRO) technical seminar in New Delhi.

He said that along with road, rail, airways and digital connectivity, under the Vibrant Village Programme, we are developing the border villages, which were once called the last villages, as the first villages of the country. We have ensured that no citizen of the country feels cut off from the mainstream. And BRO has played a big role in fulfilling this determination.

Here Rajnath Singh said, “Our effort should be to create such an India where the borders are not only secure but also connected to everyone. Where development and national security move together on the same path. Where every construction becomes synonymous with nation building.

I have full confidence that you will make positive efforts in this direction.” He said that it is not necessary that every engineer starts from zero and learns from scratch every time. Rather, he should learn from the experiences of his earlier engineers, their struggles and their successes.

Defense Minister Rajnath suggested that this knowledge should be taken to our training institute, so that new people and researchers can learn new things from it. I am confident that you will take steps in this direction. He said, “I would also like to say that infrastructure development is not the responsibility of the government alone. It requires a collective effort.

Industry must innovate, academia must advance research, engineers must develop solutions, and administrators must implement them. Together we have to create an ecosystem that encourages excellence and where every stakeholder plays its role with full dedication.”

Rajnath Singh said that the relevance of the work of BRO is also going to remain for a long time in the coming era. BRO will remain an essential force of the nation and for this, continuous adoption of new technologies is a big need of today’s time.

Sometimes the first front of war is formed not on the border, but on the road that takes the soldier to the border. Therefore, the one who builds roads is also an equally great sentinel of the nation’s security.

The Defense Minister said that BRO also builds airfields in our border and difficult areas. That is, no matter how much technology changes, no matter how much progress we make from land to sky and from sky to sea, the role of ports, airfields, roads and tunnels will never diminish. No matter how the nature of warfare changes, the importance of this basic infrastructure will always remain.
