Opposition MPs in Lok Sabha raised slogans like ‘Resign, resign’ over NEET paper leak. The opposition demands that the Prime Minister apologize in the House and remove Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan from his post. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said, we are ready for discussion in the House today, as long as the opposition does not put new conditions. This will spoil the image of the country. Due to the uproar, both the houses were adjourned till July 27.
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, only if Prime Minister Modi gives a statement in the House, we will accept his words as truth. Instead of issuing a statement at 12 midnight, he should speak in the House. Due to the uproar in the House, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned for the fifth consecutive day. Due to the uproar over NEET paper leak, the proceedings of both the houses were adjourned till 11 am on July 27.
Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said the Prime Minister yesterday decided to set up a special ‘fast-track’ court to hear ‘paper leak’ cases pending in the court. These courts will conduct daily hearings, expedite the processing of cases and ensure that investigations are completed within the stipulated time, so that the youth can get justice. This is a very important decision.
