• Jeep has launched the ‘Jeep Meridian 85th Anniversary Edition’, a 3-row SUV priced at Rs 36.05 lakh in India on the occasion of its 85th anniversary. Only 85 units will be sold.
• Based on the Overland variant, the model gets 18-inch alloy wheels, an all-black cabin with ‘Mayan Gold’ accents and a special accessories package.
• The new ‘CARA AI’ in-car technology supports as many as 52 languages, allowing navigation, calls and music to be handled through voice commands.

Jeep India has launched the ’85th Anniversary Edition’ of its popular 3-row SUV Jeep Meridian in India to mark the brand’s 85th anniversary. Only 85 units of this special collector’s edition will be made available for sale across the country. Based on the top-spec ‘Overland’ variant of the Meridian, the model has a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 36.05 lakh. Along with this, Jeep has also introduced the ‘CARA AI’ voice assistant feature in the Meridian range, the variants with this technology start at Rs 30.45 lakh.

Special look, Premium cabin and exclusive packages

The limited edition gets gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels and special 85th anniversary styling elements to differentiate it from the regular model. The interior of the car features an all-black theme with ‘Mayan Gold’ accents and striking contrast detailing, giving the cabin an ultra-luxury look. Also, to give customers an extra personal touch, the company has also made available the ’85th Anniversary AXS’ package, which includes special carpet floor mats, anniversary decals, ambient lighting and Sky Lounge sunroof illumination.

Understanding 52 languages ‘CARA AI’ Voice Assistant

Along with this launch, Stellantis has added ‘CARA AI’ voice-enabled in-car assistant technology to the Meridian range. This AI assistant allows the driver and passengers to handle navigation, weather updates, reminders, phone calls, music and certain vehicle controls with natural voice commands. Interestingly, ‘CARA AI’ can answer general knowledge questions and supports as many as 52 languages, including Indian languages.
