Respecting students’ sentiments is top priority: Rajnath said on Pradhan’s resignation!

After the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reacted and said that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the sentiments of the youth and students. He said that for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government, respect for the sentiments of students and youth and commitment towards their bright future is of paramount importance.

The Defense Minister said, “The priority of the government is to listen to the students, ensure that their problems are resolved and instill in them the confidence that their voice will be valued. For a strong education system, it is important that the students get a fair, transparent and trustworthy environment.”

He expressed confidence, “Now the youth and students of the country will be able to focus on their studies, dreams and future plans with confidence. The youth power will play an important role in building a developed and prosperous India and will contribute to the progress of the country.”

Referring to Dharmendra Pradhan’s tenure, Rajnath Singh said that his contribution as Union Minister shows his dedication towards the resolve to make India a developed nation. Pradhan’s contribution to public life has been inclusive, visionary and in line with the aspirations of the new India.

Additionally, Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh wrote, “As Dharmendra Pradhan steps down as India’s Education Minister, it is important to remember his deep and enduring connect with students and public life. There have been very few leaders who have been so deeply connected to the hopes and concerns of young India.”

He further said, “Dharmendra Pradhan’s tenure reflected a strong commitment to strengthening the education system with determination, energy and a clear sense of purpose. He faced the challenges of leadership in education while keeping students at the center.

As he moves on, he leaves the foundation for an important and forward-looking discussion on the future of education in India. Thank you for your service and contribution in nation building. I wish you continued success in the future.”
