Rahul Gandhi opposed the use of force in Jharkhand student movement!

Monsoon session continues in Delhi Assembly. On Monday, the second day of the session, there was a fierce dispute between the ruling party and the opposition regarding 'Lakshmi Yojana'. As soon as Speaker Vijendra Gupta asked Chief Minister Rekha Gupta to speak, the opposition started creating a ruckus. Even before hearing the Chief Minister's reply, Aam Aadmi Party members walked out of the House.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, while replying to the condition that the mother of three children is considered ineligible for the Lakshmi scheme, said that women are not just machines for producing children. He said that frequent childbirth has a negative impact on a woman's health, hence the Delhi government is conscious and alert about women's health.

This is the reason why a condition has been placed in the Lakshmi Yojana that makes a mother of three children ineligible so that our mothers and sisters remain safe and healthy. He said that this condition is not for any one caste and religion, but for all women, because the health of all women is important for the government.

Explaining the importance of the scheme, the Chief Minister said that our women work day and night in homes, but no economic value is assessed for their work. Along with this, women save every penny to run the household. Whenever there is any crisis in the family, these women come forward with their money and get the family out of trouble. This Delhi Lakshmi Yojana is for those women only.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also accused the AAP government of a scam worth Rs 30,000 crore. He said that whether it is the dues of power companies or loans related to the education sector, the Delhi government and the people of Delhi are having to bear the brunt of the actions of the AAP government.
