A statement issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions said that the delegation submitted a memorandum to Dr Jitendra Singh and discussed in detail the pending matters related to career progression, promotion and service. The interaction provided an opportunity to the delegates to put forth their problems before Singh and discuss the issues in a constructive and positive atmosphere.
The Union Minister appreciated the delegation coming forward to systematically discuss the concerns of the employees. He said that constant and constructive dialogue with employee representatives is important to resolve genuine service related problems and increase administrative efficiency.
The Union Minister assured the delegation that the demands and applications submitted by them would be examined thoroughly in consultation with the concerned stakeholder departments. He also assured that he will make every possible effort in the interest of the employees and ensure that the issues raised are considered through proper administrative process.
Singh further said that systematic and continuous communication with employee representatives helps the administration to better understand the service concerns and work towards their appropriate resolution. He reiterated the importance of an open and responsive approach in dealing with employee representatives and assured that the concerns raised by the Association will be given due attention.
